  • Our vision is for each child to develop a curiosity of learning, discover their interests and grow in their love of learning.  We prepare them to become productive, responsible, ethical, creative and compassionate members of society. We desire strong families through parent support and involvement. 

Education can bring hope to the thousands who have found themselves in a displacement camp far from home and with little hope of returning for many years. The flood waters are still a problem, and the families are trying to rebuild their lives. 

Their hope lies in providing their children with an education that will open doors to their future. This includes allowing girls to attend school in a  country that  discourages  them from  getting an education. Many

girls drop out of school because of arranged marriages that provide their families with financial help. However, research shows that children born to educated mothers have a 50% higher chance of a brighter future. Therefore, prioritizing young women’s education is essential.

The Southern Sudan Healthcare Organization (SSHCO) was started in 2008 when it built its clinic in Maar. When the flood waters came, SSHCO was one of the first on the ground to set up a mobile clinic to serve the families fleeing their homes in the displacement camp. Empowering the community and its leaders to build a future for their children by supporting their efforts to establish schools is Project S.U.C.C.E.S.S. and SSHCO's desire and plans are already moving forward.
